Halloween and a Hurricane

Last year we had a wet, slushy, heavy snow fall on the weekend before Halloween.  Yesterday it was mild and beautiful, but we'll start feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy today.  Fortunately I'll have plenty of time to spend with my boys and hopefully get a few things created while we're stuck inside!

Here's the Halloween costumes I made for my boys, finished last night.  Green and black spiders - my own designs, no patterns - just imagination!  They'll wear them with black sweats and black turtle necks.  The teardrop shaped spider will be my older son's and the round is for my younger son.  I can't wait to take photos of them in the costumes!

Here are the hat and mittens with removable cord for the custom order

The first of two events I'll be at is in a few weeks, mark your calendar!

Saturday, November 17th - 8am to noon Collingswood Farmer's Market.  *If the weather cooperates (pray hard!!!).  This was such a great venue last year and I love being a customer when I get the chance to drive over on a Saturday morning!  Please stop by, it's the last Farmer's Market in Collingswood until May 2013!
Thank you for stopping by to check out what I've been up to.  If you're in the area of our country that Sandy's headed toward, please be safe!  I'll post when I can.

Have a blessed week!
