I've been enjoying down time after the Give the Gift of Art 100s under $100 event at the Markeim Arts Center in Haddonfield.

Last week it was announced that the Sunshine Farm Girls Co-op also won a spot in Etsy's Top Ten Team Spirit 2012 Awards!!!  Let me tell you... this team is awesome to work with, such a supportive group and we're doing awesome with our advertising goals.

Currently I'm enjoying the Christmas holiday with my family and friends.  We're soaking in all of the cheer and blessings.

I'm also getting some work done, preparing to ship my items for the Co-op's next sampler bag - Pet Lovers - coming in January, Swag Bags (yes, for big celebrity events!!!), and product reviews by fellow bloggers.  It's a huge undertaking, but I'm so excited to be a part of this awesome team!

I look forward to creating beautiful items in 2013 for you!  I adore, get a thrill from, and really thrive on custom orders... designing for someone specific is one of my favorite things to do.  If you have a piece in mind that you would like me to create... please contact me and I will work with you to create something unique!

Top Picks - Holiday Helper

So the last time I posted a Top 5 was November 1st, from the road.  It's been quite hectic since then...
We have had our power restored after Sandy (while we were away); taken a roadtrip to Tennessee, Florida, and Virginia for 12 days and nights; come home to no phone, television, internet services; my husband went on a trip to Washington State the day after we arrived home; prepared for & did a craft show; prepared for Thanksgiving at the in-law's; prepared for and hosted a second Thanksgiving at our home!  Then prepared for and did the Eastern High School Craft Show on December 1.  Currently I'm a featured artist at the Markeim Arts Center Give the Gift of Art 100s Under $100 art show and sale... You may have noticed that WoodstreamDream is on vacation mode on Etsy.
That's because I am one of the featured artists at the Markeim Art Center!

The event runs through Sunday, December 16th.  If you're local, please stop by and take a look at all of the wonderfully creative and functional art items available for purchase!  It's located on Walnut and Lincoln in Haddonfield, New Jersey.

All of my OOAK - one of a kind - crochet designs, upcycled felted cashmere and wool flower pins, stretchy headbands adorned with cashmere and wool flowers and petals, crochet garland (with and without cashmere and wool stars), and crochet snowflakes are available for sale.

Halloween and a Hurricane

Last year we had a wet, slushy, heavy snow fall on the weekend before Halloween.  Yesterday it was mild and beautiful, but we'll start feeling the effects of Hurricane Sandy today.  Fortunately I'll have plenty of time to spend with my boys and hopefully get a few things created while we're stuck inside!

Here's the Halloween costumes I made for my boys, finished last night.  Green and black spiders - my own designs, no patterns - just imagination!  They'll wear them with black sweats and black turtle necks.  The teardrop shaped spider will be my older son's and the round is for my younger son.  I can't wait to take photos of them in the costumes!
